A little bit about myself.

Born in 1952 in Barton upon Humber.

I spent much of my childhood growing up in Scarborough before moving to York in 1972.

I am married with three children and have always been interested in art.

I am a self taught artist  and enjoy experimenting with colour, texture and different styles.

Inspiration for my work comes from a wide variety of everyday sources and events.

I have a great sensitivity towards people and surroundings and this is reflected in my paintings.

Galleries and Exhibitions:

Below is a list of places that I have exhibited in:

Bar Lane Studios, York

Artestee, York

The Mulberry Bush, York

The Courtyard Gallery, Malton

In addition to my paintings I have recently introduced a range of unique household accessosries, jewellery and gift lines which are both practical, decorative and fun to have.

Each item has been individually handcrafted by myself in my studio in Yorkshire.

Many of these are already proving very popular and I am constantly extending the range and developing new ideas.

Some of my most recent introductions are some organic polymer clay pendants.
