Margaret Young Art

Born in 1952 in Barton-upon-Humber. I spent much of my childhood growing up in Scarborough before moving to York in 1972.

I am married with three children and have always been interested in art.

I am a self taught artist and enjoy experimenting with colour, texture and different styles.

Inspiration for my work comes from a wide variety of everyday sources and events. I have a great sensitivity towards people and surroundings and this is reflected in my paintings.

I have exhibited at The Mulberry Bush, York; Prime Arts, Bath; Sewerby Park, Bridlington and have taken part in the York Open Art Exhibitions as well as undertaking many private commissions for customers both in England and abroad.
